I ordered because it said the item was in stock, but then I found out it actually wasn’t. Kind of frustrating, because I’m not the only one who’d assume “available” means it’s ready to ship, right?

"Setup didn’t feel properly finished"
I was already feeling mentally drained when the guitar showed up, so it was frustrating to plug it in and hear buzzing right away. The setup just didn’t feel like it had been done carefully, almost like it was rushed out the door. I was hoping it would be ready to play, but now I have to deal with getting it adjusted

"The order showed up well..."
The order showed up well packed and thankfully nothing inside was damaged. The box did have a small dent, which was a bit annoying, and I kept thinking the box really shouldn’t have been dented in the first place. The gear itself was fine though, so no real drama there. Still, the dented box was a little frustrating, even if everything worked out. Overall I’m happy and would probably give it 4 stars.

"Okay prices, but check the total first"
I grabbed a couple of music bits from musicfactorydirect.com.au and my quick “is this cheaper than the local shop?” brain said yes. The prices looked decent at first glance, not ridiculously cheap, but enough that I figured it was probably worth it.
Once shipping was added, the deal felt a bit more average than I expected. The stuff arrived fine and I had no real issues with the product, so I’d use them again, but only after doing the quick total-price check instead of just going by the item price

"Shipping took way too long"
I ordered from Music Factory Direct and the item itself was totally fine once it arrived, but the shipping took way longer than I expected. I also didn’t really get clear updates while I was waiting, and that part was weird. It wasn’t the worst experience ever, but it was definitely annoying. I’d probably think twice if I needed something in a hurry.

I was looking around for a specific guitar pedal and yeah, this place had it cheaper than a few other Aussie sites I checked. Shipping wasn’t exactly lightning fast or anything, but it was fine, no real drama. Overall I’m happy with what I paid, and I’d probably have a look there again next time I’m buying gear.

"Warranty help was good, honestly"
I had a pedal I bought a few months ago just randomly stop working, which kind of threw me off because I couldn’t tell if I’d done something wrong or if it just gave up. I emailed Music Factory Direct about the warranty and they got back to me in a reasonable amount of time.
It took a few days to get everything figured out, and I was a little confused about what info they needed at first, but they ended up replacing it without much hassle. Not the fastest process ever, but it felt fair in the end.

I asked for a refund it turned into such a headache. The replies were really slow, and I had to follow up more than once just to get things moving?! Not happy with how it was handled at all, and I wouldn’t buy from here again.

I tried using the site on my phone, but the pages loaded kind of weird and it was harder than it should be to find what I was looking for. if shopping takes that much effort, most people are just going to move on. I ended up giving up quickly.

"Nice to Have More Than the Same Three Brands"
I was shopping around for a new guitar and actually appreciated that Music Factory Direct had a decent range of brands instead of just the usual suspects you see everywhere. Shocking, I know, but it was nice being able to compare different options in one place without jumping between a dozen sites. I had to wait forever for support to reply, by the time they got back to me, I was already frustrated. The response didn’t really help me much either, so it felt like my issue wasn’t being taken seriously.

"Delivery was kind of hit or miss"
I ordered a small music accessory and it did show up in decent condition, so that part was fine. The delivery just took longer than I was expecting, and the tracking barely updated for a few days, which made it hard to know if it was even moving. I did reach out and got one of those canned “sorry for the inconvenience” type replies, which made it more annoying because it didn’t really tell me anything useful. Not a terrible experience overall, but not exactly reliable either. I’d maybe order again, but only if I wasn’t in any hurry.

"Confusing communication and changing terms"
The whole experience was frustrating. Their replies were slow and kind of vague, so I ended up having to ask the same questions more than once just to get a straight answer. What annoyed me even more was that the terms seemed to change along the way, which made it hard to know what I was actually agreeing to. The products might be okay, but the communication felt messy and unclear.
